With an area of 1.7 hectares, the Garden da Cerca da Graça, is the largest green space for public access in the historic district and the second largest in Lisbon (following the Botanical Garden). The new garden also has a traversal function, ensuring new connections between the neighborhoods of Graça and Mouraria, since it has three main entrances: one next to the Convento da Graça, another on the Walk Hill, halfway up the hill, and, next to the Moorish quarter, another in the area of the Potteries (just above the new Innovation Center Mouraria/Quarter of Lagares).

The project included the planting of about 180 trees and shrubs, creating a central lawn, three viewpoints, a picnic park and an orchard. It is also equipped with a kiosk with a terrace and a playground.
